HOW TO RESPECT and PROTECT CELLAR SLUGS
Green cellar slugs do not eat your garden plants, they like to munch on your compost so leave them alone. They are not doing any harm. Do not put down poisonous slug pellets, they are being banned anyway as they are a risk to hedgehogs, birds, frogs, toads and other mammals who
will most likely eat the slugs for you anyway.
